Tax Exempt Status
The process of directing the irs to recognize The Foundation's tax-exempt status began over a year ago. Technically, all charitable organization's are recognized as eligible; however, newly founded organizations that haven't implemented any programs are not encouraged to apply.
One might think that charitable organizations would be highly encouraged to notify the government of their tax exempt status. Of course, that's before realizing that there is a major conflict of interest. The irs exists to collect taxes to fund itself and government programs. The longer an organization delays it's filing of tax-exempt status, the more money the u.s. government makes; the more money that the government makes, the more money the irs gets to fund their "services".
Most individuals who found organizations are likely not concerned because either they are very small or their organization exists under the table. If, however, someone founds the first international non-profit conglomerate fundamentally designed to save the world, then they're probably going to plan ahead and notify the appropriate parties that they should be recognized as tax-exempt.
It was anticipated that individuals within the irs would obtusely try to block any attempt to achieve tax-exempt status. More children will die because of their completely ignorant choices, and for that they should be held accountable.
In a way, though, those working at the irs as well as the average citizens of planet earth can't be blamed for their actions. Do you blame rain when it falls down from the sky? Do you blame a white tiger when it drags you away by the jugular? These people have no ability whatsoever to comprehend an abstract idea. They have only a vague notion of self-awareness. They are prisoners of their own behavioral devices. All they know are rules, given to them by those in power. They are merely playing their role in a societal equilibrium formula. Each time an idea diverges from the norm it is suppressed.
The Foundation has a role as well. Up to this point in recorded history, no organization of any form has been forged to end preventable ailments within the universe. Major societal changes are rarely accepted at first. Sure the idea of change is embraced by many, but those that actually implement real change, even if it's beneficial, are ostracized, ridiculed, spat on, imprisoned, pummeled, and worse.
